Meet Laurianne Balkum

Trusted Legal Experience with a Practical Approach

 

Laurianne Balkum has been practicing law since 2013, when she graduated from Baylor School of Law. Her experience spans civil litigation, in-house counsel, and federal government service. She began her career at private civil litigation firms before moving in-house with a technology franchisor in Austin in 2016, where she served in the roles of In-House Counsel and Director of Legal and Human Resources. In 2019, she joined the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of General Counsel, where she advised on complex regulatory and transactional matters.

 

In 2025, Laurianne returned to private practice, establishing her own law office in Salado, Texas. Her firm is focused on serving individuals and businesses across Central Texas.

 

Laurianne’s practice includes general counsel services, estate planning, and transactional law, with a particular emphasis on providing clear, strategic guidance tailored to her clients’ goals. She believes in equipping her clients with the knowledge they need to make confident, informed decisions — and helping them carry those decisions out in a practical, cost-effective way.
